Regency Library Table

An early 19th century Regency period burr elm centre/library table. The tooled black leather writing surface crossbanded with rosewood over a narrow frieze and four drawers with brass lion mask handles. The table is raised on a turned column and quotroform base, with gilt metal mounts and four swept sabre legs terminating in brass castors. Lovely untouched ‘country house’ condition.
